PlayStation has taken over and now owns the EVO Championship Series

After the apparent death of the EVO Championship Series, after COVID-19 and harassment allegations against a former member, EVO has been given a second chance at life. Today, PlayStation announced that Sony Interactive Entertainment has partnered with a new esports company, RTS, and the Cannon Brothers to take ownership of the EVO Championship. Being a fan of fighting games and the community, I wondered how this would play out and how the community would be affected.
