About “The Mad Tech”

I’ve been employed as a  Windows system administrator /
network support tech for about for about 9 years, however I’m been
dealing with computers for the past 16 years of my life. Doing this time
i’ve worked with alot of companies, clients and co-workers who have in
one way or another encouraged me or helped me on my pursuit of
knowledge. This tech blog is my way of helping others the same way I was
helped as well as a brain dump for myself as I tend to get forgetful at
times… I mean, who can remember everything all the time.Currently I
am employeed at an east coast webhosting company, Hostmysite.com, whom I
have been a part of since 2005. Here I am currently a dedicated server
and virtual private server administrator (windows and linux). Previously
before this I was a level II Field Service Technician with Brandywine
School District in Claymont, Delaware and before this I was a Network
Administrator for the Cecil County Government for about 2.5 years.

I currently hold my Comptia A+ and Network+ ceritification. I am also
pursing my Microsoft MCSA and VMware VCP ceritifications.
