To change account ownership in Cpanel, you will need to do the following;
1. Goto the reseller’s center.
2. Highlight the account surelogi and make sure the check box is checked by make the new reseller own their account. This will create their account with the correct permissions.
3. Once step two is done, the user account will be made and it will be removed from the root.
(It is also a good idea to make sure their shell access is configured correctly if you give them shell access.)
You will want to goto account functions and goto manage shell access. Here you can enable shell access (jailed shell) or remove (disable) shell access. Jailed shell gives them shell access but it confirms them to their own account, thus removing any attempts on root shell access.
WARNING: Shell Access provides a level of access above that of normal cPanel access and should only be given to responsible and trustworthy customers.
